The Youth Convention Cross was solemnly received by Parish Priest, Father Santaremend Lopes, at Our Lady of Good Health Church, Sankeshwar. The Cross was handed over by Father Sebastian Lobo, parish priest of St. Anthony's Church, Adkur, Maharashtra on July 20, 2025.



That evening, at 6:00 p.m., the parish community gathered to formally welcome the Cross. The celebration began with a vibrant praise and worship session led by Stany Fernandes, a dedicated youth of the parish. The spiritually uplifting evening concluded with the Sunday Holy Eucharist, bringing the community together in prayer and reflection.



On the following day, July 21, 2025, Monday a special devotion was held, where every family from the parish took turns in prayer before the Cross until 3:00 p.m. This heartfelt act of faith and unity fostered a deep spiritual atmosphere among the parishioners.



In the afternoon, the Youth Convention Cross was handed over to Chikkodi Parish. Mr. Alexander Dsouza and Mr. John Fernandes, parish representatives, accompanied by Father Lopes, who carried the Cross to its next destination. It was reverently received by Father Clifford on behalf of Chikkodi Parish Priest and community, marking the continued journey of this sacred symbol of faith and youth unity.
