QUICK BITE -

The Youth of Oros & Ranbambuli, joyfully celebrated the Feast of Saint John Mary Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests, on August 3, 2025 at Don Bosco School, Oros. This special event was organized to honor and appreciate the dedicated priests of the Salesian communities of Don Bosco Oros and Bosco Udyogshala Pinguli.

The celebration began with a warm welcome extended to all the priests present. As a joyful gesture of celebration, the priests along with the youth members cut a cake together, marking the occasion with smiles, laughter, and shared fellowship. Leha Fernandes, treasurer of the Youth group, addressed the gathering and shared a few words of appreciation for the priests, acknowledging their tireless service and spiritual leadership.

The youth group expressed their heartfelt gratitude through a melodious song specially written by Sharon Fernandes, vice president of the youth group, which beautifully conveyed the love and respect for the priests. Each priest was then presented with a handmade greeting card and a flower, symbolizing the youth’s admiration and reverence.

The event concluded with an inspiring message by the Parish Priest, Father Richard Correia who spoke about the life and mission of a priest, drawing inspiration from the life of Saint John Mary Vianney his humility, prayerfulness, and unwavering dedication to the parish community.

The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the priests and a beautiful expression of love and unity by the youth of Oros-Ranbambuli.
