Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and heartfelt gratitude at Don Bosco CBSE School, Trasi, to honour and appreciate the invaluable contributions of our teachers on September 4, 2025 at the School Auditorium.
The teachers were given a grand welcome with spark lights, flowers and greetings, symbolizing respect and admiration. The program began with a prayer service led by the school choir group. The traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony was followed by the floral tribute to the portrait of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, by all the members of the management and teachers who graced the dais. All the educators were given a floral welcome individually by the Principal, with a smiley badge. The cutting of the cake ceremony followed, marking a sweet beginning to the event.
The students of Classes VI to XI presented a variety entertainment programme to express their gratitude and entertain the teachers. Their dazzling performances were a sight to behold. The Class XII students conducted various games for the teachers, who took part in each activity enthusiastically.
Teacher Smitha Kumari shared her beautiful journey of over a decade at Don Bosco School, Trasi. She shared her experience and a note of gratitude to all the people who made working in this institution possible.
The Student Council presented the teachers with a token of love and appreciation and prizes to teachers who won their respective games during the program.
Rector and Principal, Father Maxim D’Souza addressing the gathering, highlighted the importance of teachers in society and motivated everyone to uphold the values of education and dedication. He appreciated the efforts of the teacher in making Don Bosco School, Trasi a school and a family that nurtured students.
The program came to an end with the distribution of delicious snacks and drinks. Following the lunch for the teachers the students conducted a game of housie, cricket as well as dodgeball. The day ended with a dance session where the teachers and the students enjoyed each other’s’ company. The entire program was well-coordinated by the students of School Cabinet and Junior College.
