The Don Bosco Animation Center, Benaulim, came alive with youthful energy and Marian devotion as Marian Knights 2025 unfolded with great enthusiasm. Organized by Don Bosco Youth Services, Benaulim, the event drew 15 teams from various parishes and youth groups across Goa, including YU4C, Jesus Youth, and DB Paschers on October 26, 2025.



The evening commenced with a devotional prayer service led by Chiquita, invoking God’s blessings and the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This was followed by a welcome address from Father Edison Fernandes, who emphasized the event’s Marian inspiration and its role in nurturing faith among the youth.



Hosts Galicia and Chiquita energized the crowd with a lively action song, setting a joyful tone for the competitions ahead. Participants then engaged in a variety of faith-based and Marian-themed challenges, such as Marian Pictionary, Biblical Treasure Hunt, and Marian Crossword. One of the evening’s highlights was the Marian Musical, where contestants identified Marian hymns played by Father Patrick Dias and Father Edison Fernandes, adding a melodic touch to the festivities.



The event featured 12 rounds in total, culminating in an exciting three-part final quiz conducted by Jwelancy alongside the emcees. As the scores were tallied, Team Snapdragon emerged victorious, followed by Team Peony and Team Hydrangea, who secured second and third places respectively.

In a touching prize distribution and knighting ceremony, Father Dias, personally knighted the champions and presented trophies and medals, joined by Father Austin Fernandes, who warmly congratulated all participants. The evening concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Vaylon, and a unifying final action song that brought together all teams and volunteers in a spirit of fellowship.

Marian Knights 2025 stood out as more than just a competition — it was a heartfelt celebration of faith, unity, and Marian devotion, strengthening the spiritual bond among Goa’s youth.
