Don Bosco Farm High School, Sulcorna, Goa organised an educational study trip for the students to Karwar. A total of 167 students accompanied by 20 teachers participated in this enriching excursion on January 23, 2026.
The first destination at Karwar was the Navy Museum, where the students learned about the history of the Indian Navy, naval warfare, models of ships and submarines, and the life of naval officers. The visit helped the students gain respect and appreciation for the defence forces of our country.
Next, the students visited the Science Museum at Karwar. The museum displayed various scientific models and interactive exhibits related to physics, mechanics and space science. Students showed keen interest and actively participated by observing and understanding the working of different scientific principles. This visit strengthened their practical knowledge beyond textbooks.
After that, we proceeded to the beautiful Rock Garden of Karwar. The scenic beauty, creatively arranged rocks and statues fascinated the students. They enjoyed exploring the garden and learning about environmental conservation and artistic expression.
The group then moved to the Tree Park at Karwar, where students relaxed in the natural surroundings, shared meals with their friends and enjoyed a refreshing break.
The trip concluded in the evening and the group returned safely to school with joyful memories and valuable learning experiences. The educational trip was well-organised, informative and enjoyable. It successfully combined learning with recreation and will remain a memorable experience for all the participants.
