Don Bosco Pre-Novitiate Community Loutolim, Goa, under the guidance of Father Nigel Pinto and Cleric Clement Soren organized the Oratory Day 2026. A total of 65 children from five centers namely, Carvota, Ambora, Vanxem, the Tuition Oratory, and the House Oratory, gathered for this joyful event on March 22, 2026.



The program commenced at 3:00 p.m. with the registration of participants upon arrival. This was followed by a short prayer and the lighting of the lamp, led by the Pre - novices, invoking God’s blessings on the day’s activities. Rector, Father Ian Figueiredo, delivered the inaugural address and officially declared the Oratory Day open. In his message, he encouraged the children to grow into better individuals and to remain cheerful. The Pre – novices then led the children through some lively ice – breakers, yells and action songs.



Following the inauguration, the children enthusiastically participated in various games organized at different stalls across the campus by the Pre - novices. They tried their luck and skills, winning prizes along the way. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, filled with excitement, laughter, and active participation from all the children. One of the boys from the Ambora Oratory, Manidev, shared his experience, saying, I really enjoyed the games. I am eagerly waiting for more events like this.



The concluding ceremony began with a short prayer at 5:45 p.m. This was followed by the vote of thanks by Father Nigel Pinto, who expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event. He also thanked the children for attending the Sunday Oratories on a regular basis and encouraged them to be good and grateful for all that they have received.
The program concluded at 6:15 p.m., with the distribution of snacks. The children departed for their homes, carrying with them joyful memories of the day.
