Feast of St Dominic Savio marks Start of House System at DB Tuem

The entire family of Don Bosco High School Tuem, celebrated the feast of Saint Dominic Savio, patron of the House System on July 6, 2022.

After the prayerful moment where the catholic students attended a mass celebrated by Father Mathias D'Cunha and a prayer service for the students of other faith, the investiture was held for the newly elected leaders of the four houses in the house system.

The leaders of the primary section were the first to be invested followed by the leaders of High School section. This was followed by some very lively activities centered on the theme of Saint Dominic Savio. The high light of the installation ceremony this year was, it was attended by the parents, who were present to invest their child as a leader with a badge and a sash. It was a proud moment for the student his or her parent.

Principal, Father Jonathan Ribeiro, administered the oath to the newly elected leaders of the school and also spoke on the occasion.

Rector Father Richard Correia, Father Mathias, Brother Trevor, staff and students were also present on the occasion.
