The inmates of Margaret Bosco Bal Sadan (MBBS), Paliem attended a workshop entitled, My Intelligent Brain, conducted by Vernon Marshall at Aldona, Goa on June 17, 2022.

The purpose of the workshop was to help the students understand brain functioning, and how to obtain optimum effectiveness in learning and memorizing. Sessions were held from 8 am till 5:30 pm. Topics such as mind mapping, as an effective tool for creativity and problem solving, activities and exercises to balance both hemispheres of the brain, and meditation exercises to calm the mind during stressful times etc was discussed. The students were also guided on working with their sub-conscious and super-conscious mind for better productivity and right decision making.

The benefits of the program listed were, accelerate learning technique, better recollection, improve concentration, improve organizational skill, prevent memory loss, activate the sub-conscious mind, and increase confidence level.

The boys enjoyed the workshop, since it was very engaging, and beneficial to them as students.
