The Salesians of Margaret Bosco Bal Sadan (MBBS), Paliem community, along with the catechists and youth of the Ucassaim Parish, jointly organized a Marian program for the catechism children as part of the Marian month on September 11, 2022.

Parish Priest of Ucassaim, Fr. Savio Jose Cirilo de Souza inaugurated the Marian Program by garlanding the statue of Our Lady at 9:30 am. The children were divided into two groups based on their age. The media presentations, questions, games, hymns, handouts and spot prizes were all centered on Our Lady. The program was meant to be educative and entertainig at the same time, and was geared to be an eye opener to the children on many things about Our Blessed Mother Mary and her role in the Salvation of mankind.

At the end of the program, Parish Priest Father Souza thanked the Salesians and distributed the prizes. The Salesians were happy with the co-operation they received from the Parish Priest and the catechists. There were strong and positive vibes among the children a sign that they had a rich experience.

Janessa Noronha, co-ordinator of the catechists said, It was really an enriching event, where all the children as well as catechists got to learn a lot about Mother Mary.
