On September 13, 2022, Rector Major, Don Angel Fernandez Artime, Regional, South Asia, Father Biju Michael, Provincials of Salesian Provinces of Dimapur, Shillong, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Tiruchy, Chennai, our Provincial of Panjim, Father Clive Telles, and the former Provincial Father Felix Fernandes visited the Margaret Bosco Bal Sadan (MBBS), Paliem community at around 10:30 am. The parents and siblings of Salesians, staff members and boys of MBBS were present.

The Rector Major was welcomed by the boys with a welcome song, followed by a short cultural program. Prior to his address to the boys and the Salesians, the Rector Major played a couple of songs on the guitar and entertained the gathering.

Speaking to the boys of MBBS, Rector Major Father Angel said, you are the preferred ones closest to the heart of Don Bosco. Don Bosco lived with boys just like you in Turin. I thank the Salesians who are working here, those who have worked here and who will work here for giving their life for these young boys he added.

Before his departure, Rector Major blessed every boy. The boys in turn, were happy to have met and interact with the Rector Major, with whom they felt the fatherly warmth of his presence.
