Event

The Salesian Parents' Day was held on November 19, 2023 at Don Bosco Animation Center Benaulim. The Parents Day was a unique one as the Salesian Family helped out in conducting the Program.

The day began at 9:30 A.M. where a total of 110 parents of the Salesians and 15 Salesians checking in for the event. Father Jonathan gave a brief overview of the works and presences of the Salesians in the Salesian Province of Panjim Konkan.

Salesian Province of Panjim Konkan, Provincial, Father Clive Telles shared with the parents his vocation story. With references from his vocation story, Father Telles, spoke about the defining characteristics of a Salesian and the Salesian spirituality.

Later, Father Anisio Mota spoke about the Salesian Family given special importance to the Salesian Cooperators. He also invited the parents to join the Salesian Cooperators and help out in the Salesian mission.

At the Eucharistic celebration, Salesian Province of Panjim Konkan, Vice Provincial, Father Banzelao preached the homily on the Salesian style of education focusing on the Preventive System and the Salesian Pedagogy.

The day ended with a fellowship meal. The parents were very happy as they got to know and interact with each other after a long time, further more they felt a part of the Salesian Family.
