Missinary group of Don Bosco Loutolim
Go and Invite everyone to the Banquet, is the theme chosen for World Mission Sunday
2024. The theme was inspired by the parable of the wedding banquet in Matthew’s
Gospel; where the king invites everyone he can find to the feast. The invitation to the
banquet is linked to the Eucharistic table, where believers share the Body and Blood of
Christ.

In line with this theme, the Pre-Novices of the Missionary group at Don Bosco, Loutolim
came up with a number of initiatives which include; the Missionary Rosary, short
videos on missionary saints, starting with Christ, the first Missionary of the Father.
Our former Salesian missionary Fr. Mathias D’ Cunha was interviewed by the
missionary group. Salesian missionaries working abroad will also be invited to share
their experiences with the Pre-Novices via video call. A missionary movie and videos on
Salesian missions will also be watched by the Pre-Novices.
Besides these initiatives, a Mass will also be offered for the missions.
