The Province Catechetical Day, a vibrant and spiritually enriching faith event, was held at Don Bosco Animation Centre (DBAC), Benaulim, Goa on February 15, 2025. The gathering saw enthusiastic participation from eight educational institutions across Goa, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. A total of 191 student participants, along with 34 animators, school representatives, faculty members, and about ten Salesians, graced the occasion with their presence.

The day was filled with fun-learning activities, action songs, and interactive faith-centred sessions. The theme, Celebrate Life through Prayer, was beautifully woven into every aspect of the program. The Our Father was chosen as the guiding prayer, emphasizing its significance in daily spiritual life. Participants were divided into teams based on the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit, fostering an environment of friendship and collaboration. Each child was encouraged to step out of their comfort zone, make new friends, and build meaningful bonds within their team.

A key highlight of the day was the faith formative session conducted by Father Lionel Braganza, whose engaging and humorous approach kept the children entertained while imparting valuable lessons on prayer. This was followed by group discussions, expertly coordinated by the team animators, allowing participants to share personal insights, seek clarity, and strengthen their understanding of faith.
