Cooperator aspirants at Don Bosco Attavar, Mangalore
February 24, 2025, marked a significant milestone in the history of Mangalore Salesians, as 25 aspirants came forward to embark on their journey towards becoming Salesian Cooperators.
Months of Preparation; after a diligent 7-month search, Father Anisio Mota and Father Jason Pinto identified 35 exceptional individuals, 25 of whom took the first step towards commitment. This group forms a robust foundation for the Salesian presence in Mangalore.
Commitment to Formation; the aspirants pledged to faithfully participate in all 20 formative sessions, spanning a period of two years, in preparation for taking their promises. The group comprises past pupils, devotees of Don Bosco, well-wishers, and admirers of the Salesians.
Gratitude and Celebration; we express heartfelt gratitude to God for guiding us in selecting these remarkable individuals. The momentous day concluded with delicious snacks and warm handshakes, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey.
