Don Bosco Vikas Kendra, Honnihalli joyfully joined in for a pre-celebration of Van Mahotsav Day, in collaboration with the Gram Panchayat Level Federation (GPLF) of Konankeri, representing 45 Sanjivani SHGs of which 87 members on June 23, 2025.



The Salesian premises in Honnihalli served as the venue for this meaningful celebration. The event began with inspiring talks and community discussions, followed by the planting of a custard apple sapling symbolizing a strong commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable green initiatives.



The event was graced by the presence of key officials who inspired and guided the proceedings, Vidyashree T.P, block resource organizer of Hukkeri Taluka, Sangeeta Patil, President, GPLF, Ashwini Patil, treasurer, GPLF, Ambuja Kanade, master book keeper, GPLF, Praveen Banu, livestock community resource person, GPLF and Archana Naik, krishi sakhi, GPLF.



The program was thoughtfully organized and efficiently executed under the leadership of Sir D.B. Patil, KDS Social Coordinator for the Karnataka Region.
