Don Bosco Provincial House Hosts Administrators Meeting

The Don Bosco Provincial House at Odxel hosted the meeting of the administrators of the Salesian Province of Panjim, bringing them together to update themselves. The meeting began with a warm welcome address by Father Francis Silveira, the outgoing Economer, who set the tone for the day's proceedings. Provincial, Father Clive Telles, delivered a thought-provoking talk on the duty of administrators, emphasizing their crucial role in the community.

Chartered Accountant, Sunil Gonsalves’ session on new laws and compliance was a highlight of the meeting. He provided practical insights and guidance on maintaining society or trust records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as FCRA and income tax. The session was informative and engaging, with participants actively participating in the Q&A segment.

The afternoon session on change management, by Father Royston D'Souza, was both inspiring and enriching. Father D’Souza's session encouraged participants to be proactive in embracing change.

The final talk of the day was delivered by Mr. Mariano Pinheiro, a lawyer and professor, who provided an in-depth analysis of land laws and other legal matters relevant to the administrators.
