Don Bosco College Signs MoU with GDP Foundation

Don Bosco College, Panjim, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Growth and Development Platform (GDP) Foundation, an aggregator trust engaged in social research on emerging community trends, challenges, and issues, with the aim of disseminating knowledge across states and countries on July 30, 2025.

The MoU was signed by Don Bosco College, Panjim, Director, Father Kinley D’Cruz and GDP Foundation, Managing Trustee, Kishore Shah. The signing ceremony was witnessed by CA Sandesh Prabhukhanolkar, trustee, GDP Foundation, Mohnish Ghodekar CEO, Demerg Partner, GDP Foundation, Dr Cedric Silveira, principal, Assistant Professor, Agnelo D’Souza, faculty coordinator for the MoU Project and Assistant Professor, Christal Ferrao, member, training, internship and placement committee. Also present were Assistant Professor, Archie Fernandes, head, IQAC and Assistant Professor, Cathrine Prisilda.

This collaboration aims to foster a strong industry-academia partnership through targeted training and development projects in the field of media and communication. The program is designed to enhance students’ competencies in business communication and project management by involving them in live, ongoing projects under the mentorship of industry experts.

As part of this initiative, students from the Department of Mass Communication & Journalism will gain practical exposure, develop industry-relevant skills, and contribute meaningfully to real-world projects. The partnership emphasizes key focus areas such as corporate communications, social media management, content marketing, and digital video production. In addition, the MoU seeks to advance public relations efforts supporting micro-enterprises and self-help groups, with the broader vision of promoting social entrepreneurship—particularly through initiatives that empower the elderly.
