The Entrepreneurship Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE), Fatorda, in collaboration with the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Goa, and the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) on Saturday, August 23, 2025.



The event, conducted from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at DBCE, aimed to nurture entrepreneurial spirit among budding engineers and encourage innovative thinking.



Key sessions during the programme focused on the Essence of Entrepreneurship, Business Model Canvas, and Government Schemes for Entrepreneurs. These sessions were conducted by Ms. Rutuja S and Ms. Durva Vithal from EDII, who engaged participants with interactive discussions and practical insights.

Students gained valuable knowledge about opportunities, challenges, and resources in the field of entrepreneurship. The initiative not only motivated them to view entrepreneurship as a viable career path but also aligned with the broader vision of cultivating job creators rather than job seekers.

The programme was well-received and marked as a significant step toward fostering innovation and entrepreneurial growth among young engineers.
