The Salesians at Don Bosco Vikas Kendra, Honnihalli organized a joyful Christmas celebration for the children and youth of Pamaldinni and Honnihalli on December 27, 2025.
Catechist Alban D’Souza brought around 18 children and youth from Pamaldinni, who arrived at the centre at 10:30 a.m. The programme began with a Christmas prayer, followed by the Holy Eucharist, which was celebrated by Father Santaremend Lopes.



After the Holy Mass, the children participated enthusiastically in group games and competitions. The winning team was awarded prizes by Monthin D’Costa, encouraging the children and making the event lively and enjoyable. At around 1:30 p.m. a sumptuous meal was served to all the Pamaldinni children and youth.



The cultural programme began at 3:30 p.m., with the participation of children from both Pamaldinni and Honnihalli. Around 130 children, youth, and neighbourhood members were present. The programme began with a prayer song lighting of candles at the crib by children. Following this colourful dances, and a special skit on Jesus healing the blind man was beautifully performed by the Pamaldinni children, which deeply impressed the audience.



The vote of thanks was delivered by Catechist Alban D’Souza, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the celebration. The children thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas programme and carried home joyful memories.
At the end of the programme, Christmas goodies were distributed as takeaways to all participants by Alexander D’Souza, parishioner from Sankeshwar, along with little santas Jonas and Bernadine.

The celebration truly reflected the spirit of Christmas—joy, sharing, and togetherness.
