The Department of English at Don Bosco College, Panjim recently brought language and literature to the fore with its flagship event LitQuest 1.0, a three-day inter-class literary festival held from March 16 to 18, 2026. Students from across all departments teamed up to unleash creativity through a series of high-energy competitive events.



The festival opened with, Caption This, an event that challenged students to provide the wittiest commentary for on-screen visuals. The stakes rose during, The Sensory Shift, a live-writing marathon.



Drama took centre stage with, The Literary Tribunal, where students stepped into the shoes of literature’s most infamous villains to defend their crimes before a mock court. Meanwhile, the Tale of Two, tested, the gift of the gab, requiring duos to sync perfectly to solve communication-based puzzles.



The final day featured the vibrant Literary Cosplay, as iconic characters from novels and series were brought to life through costume and performance. As the final rounds of the, Wuzzle word quiz concluded, student photographers captured the essence of the day through their lenses to submit for the final event, Freeze.

The different events that were lined up ensured a dive into creativity, wit and communication as students got the platform to unleash their inner artists and breathe new life into classic narratives.
