INP Salesians Win Saint Joseph Vaz Cup

The Salesians of Don Bosco Panjim Province, won the sixth edition of the Saint Joseph Vaz cup football tournament for priest and seminarians held at the Father Agnel's complex ground, Verna, Goa on November 20, 2022.

The Salesians went past the Capuchin's team by two goals one in each half of the game. Father Christovan and Father Benson scored a goal in each half and made the Salesian team proud winners of the much sought-after event by the religious of Goa.

Father Franky for the Capuchin team was very strong in the goal and saved some very good goal tries throughout in the league matches as well.

Father Agnelo Gomes, director of Father Agnel Gomes Ashram Complex was the chief guest and Father Michael Mascarenhas SDB was the guest of honour for the occasion. The blessed the participants with a prayer and gave away the trophy to the winning side, the Salesian team of Panjim Province. Vice Provincial Father Teixeira Banzelao was also present on the occasion and gave the much needed boast and support to the Salesian team.
